Messing with EndNote and Google Docs

I just created a test document in Google Docs online, dropped and dragged citations from EndNote X into the document (still in Google Docs), saved it to my desktop as a Word doc. file, opened it in Word, and formatted the bibliography.
I am still trying to think if there are any practical applications to this process, but I was tickled that it was possible.
